My work explores the relationship between emotion, memory, connection and the human experience.
Working predominantly in acrylic, I create contemporary paintings that move between expressive abstraction, figurative work and the natural world. I'm interested in the feelings and stories that exist beneath what we see — moments that can be difficult to express through words alone.
Texture, movement, light and contrast are central to my practice. I build layers within my paintings, allowing the surface to develop organically and giving each work a sense of depth, atmosphere and individuality.
I'm drawn to both the delicate and the powerful — vulnerability alongside strength, stillness alongside movement, darkness alongside light. My work often begins with an emotion or an instinct rather than a fixed idea, allowing the painting itself to evolve through the process.
For me, painting is a way of making something intangible visible.
Each piece begins with a feeling. The meaning is yours to find.
